Sing Street

Video & Projection Design for Musical Theatre

In Sing Street, it’s Dublin in 1982, and thousands of people are out of work and seeking bluer skies across the Irish Sea. Sixteen-year-old Conor and his schoolmates turn to music to escape the troubles at home and to impress a mysterious girl. Sing Street is an adaptation of the iconic indie film of the same name, and features a score that features the new wave sounds of the 1980s.

The video design consisted of a digital mural of the Irish Sea, which grew, changed color, and morphed as a reflection of the emotions of the characters and the action of the musical.
